How It All Began

I developed a passion for photography that couldn't be denied. I began shooting photos of family members, friends and nature and not only improved my technique, but developed my own personal style. Photography is a passion of mine which is why you will see a variety of creative effects and shots within my portfolio.

My experience with Michael started a little different, as I had reached out in a photography group and asked if there were any photographers that would be willing to let me shadow them. I am a self taught photographer and learn new things every day, but it also really helps getting to talk to other photographers and get their outlook on things. So Michael had reached out and we set up a day to take some photos. All I needed was a model, and I had someone handy! He showed me a new technique and taught me some basic things to do with lights, and was so patient with me! He asked me questions to rack my brain and see what I knew already, and taught me so many new things just in the short time I was there! We even met a second time and he showed me his editing software and we went over the photos we had taken, and talked some more about my goals and different things I could do to achieve them. He has been so supportive and helpful and I truly am glad that we had linked up! I plan to continue reaching out and learning new things, as his work is AMAZING and he is so kind and helpful, never thinking any of my questions were dumb and giving his own critique and compliments when needed. I would do it all over again if I could; I’m so glad to have found someone so experienced to help me and help bring my photography to the next level! 10/10 recommend him as a photographer, but also a teacher!
